| Great day! My buddy also caught 17. We lost another 6-8 on the way to the boat. Tons of other hits with none hooked. The only way into the lake is with a modified 4x4. Road is very rough and washed out in places and lots of over hanging branches. I hope you like pinstripes, lol. No place for a mall SUV.
Used a type 6 sinking line with the gomphis and a type 3 with the spratley. Leaders were 9-12 foot. Gomphis was about 2 to 1 fish count but caught lots of fish on both. The map is wrong. You come in from the north off Mystery Creek FS Rd. The road to the south of the lake goes toward Hale Creek FS Rd I believe. We will try that route next time.
