| Was a bit of a hike up but once your past Lindeman Lake the rest of the way is a breaze. The lake is filled with fish, they were literally jumping every 30 seconds or so. You could see them swimming all over the lake it's so clear. Got quite a few bits and took 2 home with me ( around 8 inches long). Could see alot of big ones in there but neither me or my son could entice tthem to our lines, and you can see the fish follow your line before it decides wether to bite or not (real frustrating to see a big one follow your hook then decide nah I don't want that). While the first half of the hike is gruelling, it's only about a half hour of an uphike the the rest is pretty even (we did it in 2 hours bottom to greendrop). Well worth the extra effort to bypass Lindeman lake, just give yourself a good amount of time to fish by leaving early.
