| I've seen fish raising, but can't get anything until I switched
to fast trolling (whatever you can get from a belly boat)
and allowed all of my type 3 line out, including some backing.
Water is very clear, so the fish is careful.
Often I felt a tug-tug bite. In this case you freeze and wait for the second take.
This way I managed to hook into many fish, but due to the large amount
of line out, cutties been quite good at spitting the barbless hook.
Later spoke to some people that were fishing from the shore with worms and shrimp meat. They didn't get anything. So, I may state I've done Ok ;-)
