| Given my latest experiences here I thought I try a number of different colours to see if I could get a bite. Fished from 5 pm to 7 pm without even a sniff. Conditions were good with a bit of a breeze but I stuck to the south end of the lake that usually produces. There were a number of mosquitoes and other hatches going on but I saw no fish rising. Fished with pink egg (wool), doc spratley, red egg (wool), pumpkinhead (olive), stickleback minnow pattern. I will continue to fish this lake as it is the only one really open as it is not in a provincial park, and it has produced some fish this year (early March mostly). Last 3 times I've been here now and I have left empty handed...that's fishing I guess.
