| Not many guys fishing today. i hooked into a nice chrome male chum after my second cast. i lost the fish because my leader broke. a guy on the other side landed a chum salmon and released it. fishing was overall slow. later i headed up to the upper river and saw so many dead chum. lots and lots of spawning chum. it was funny because guys next to me kept snagging the dam spawners. i think the fall salmon season in the vedder is coming to an end. the smell is too bad and most fish i saw have white blotches on them. the only decent fish are in the canal which is now slowing down. tight lines and sharphooks!
