How to cut potato wedges To cut potato wedges, start by washing and drying the potatoes. Cut off the ends, then cut the potato in half lengthwise. Place each half cut-side down and cut in half again lengthwise. Finally, cut each quarter into 2-3 wedges. The thickness of the wedges can be adjusted to personal preference.
